| I have a mare that has gotten her this winter, so we decided to breed her while she is getting over it. I tried to load her pedigree but it keeps saying file is to large. Anyway she is on allbreedpedigre. Mp Chickadee. If anyone knows how to post it so I could get some thoughts on which stallion would compliment her. She needs more run has plenty of rate and stop |

^^^ This ^^^ There is a lot to chose from who come from successful families. I have yet to see a successful Corona Cartel anything. A lot of the trainers are not liking them either and I know of at least one who flat refuses to take any in. If it was me I'd stick to the First Down Dash, Dash Ta Fame, Streakin Six, Tres Sies, Shawnee Bug, ect. |

I really think if selling is your major goal, the ASOF's are the best bang for your buck right now. I haven't seen a cheap Dash ta Fame either, but you'll put more money out for him. |

ASOF sales results for 2014 & so far in 2015 have averaged $28,650. That should cover your $4200.
ETA: the lowest price one brought $6000. ETA Again: he is by far the best priced, highest producing, best return on your dollar in the barrel industry. ETA Again: I'll give you $1000 for your so-so mare.

I honestly wouldnt be either.
He's had a TON of mares breed to him for the last 2 years, so many i think its over kill.
So i pretty much guarantee his fee will go up. Which makes it so tempting to buy 1 more breeding to him now and use it on my pritzi dash mare again, but i just don't think i can do that for this year.
I'll more than likely be holding onto the one due this year. |

There is a group of people that will run from each of the names you listed. It isn't a name that make a horse good. Never tell anybody that your mare is so-so. If she is nice enough to breed go for it. The better the stallion is, it will help your re-sale. If you don't believe in her, why would anybody else. I know you were only half serious, and so am I, but commit and sell it like she's the best **** mare on the planet.
By the way. I really like ASOF for the roping pen. My next stud prospect will be by him and out of a cowbred mare. It might take me a while to create or find but I like him that much. |

They wont ever give a hard number but it was close to 150, which is about how many DTF's there are each year as well. |

| I have looked at a bazillion studs I think. ASOF is my top choice. Bummer he is out of my budget. My mare isn't anything fancy either but she's a heck of a using horse. Barrels poles rope she doesn't hesitate she just goes with it and does what you need. Shes more old cowbred but I like it and I like her. There are so many nice studs out there. I;m still struggling to decide. Sheesh. :D |
