| I know many are going through worse things than me right now but I could use some prayers that my dog comes home. He's only 10lbs and ran off last night. He's my little buddy and luckily has a sweater on but he's still not home. I was contacted and told he was seen running down our main road around 4 hours ago and it worries me that he doesn't know where he's at. I didn't have to work today but skipped one class and have searched since last night. I can't do this in the days to come but it makes me feel so anxious that I won't be home and he may come back. I don't have kids and obviously it doesn't compare but it makes you feel like your child was kidnapped and you can't do anything about it... Please pray for his safe return, or just that I find him in general. I'd rather find him dead than not at all.

| Thank you so much everyone!! I really appreciate it. I got a call that woke me up around 5:40 this morning from my neighbor upstairs who said he saw my dog run down to my apartment but ran away from our apartments when he tried going after him. I forgot to tell him that he's skittish and will run off so to not chase him but that's not his fault. I had left his kennel, bed, food, and water out as well and his food was gone so I think he ate it. I'm praying he's getting tired and hungry and will come back to his kennel and sleep and be there when I get home. I think your prayers are working!! |

| I just got home from looking. I got a call from a towing company/mechanic shop I use often because it's so close and they said he was there and still has his little sweater on! I went there and of course couldn't make it there in time and he ran off. I looked some more around there and gave out more signs. I'm hoping with it starting to rain he will maybe come home! I'm trying to stay positive because I at least know he's alive and still in the area!!! Thank you everyone for the continued thoughts and prayers. I hope I can get him soon. |

Put a shirt or something that you have worn there, and he may come back to it. |

Good thinking, anything with your smell on it and maybe he will hang around long enough so that you can find him. And put food and water out with it. |

| He hasn't come back yet but I've gotten THREE calls about him this morning and someone posted on my friends Facebook. The two calls said he was at the trailer park beside my apartment and at the storage units beside my apartment this morning, and the third said he's been coming to this guy's grandparent's yard a lot this week so they're gonna leave food out. The Facebook poster said they saw him at a school near by the other day. Unfortunately I'm 2 hours away visiting my dad before he goes overseas but when I go home I'm gonna call for him, leave my door and window open and cook deer burger and maybe that'll bring him home. At least I know he's in the area and knows where home's at. Keep praying! Thank you all <3 |

| Thank you all. He was seen again Sunday night and was seen around 1 today a little farther out but still in the area. Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do? By the time I get to where he was seen, he's gone. I've been putting flyers out and hanging flyers out, still have his kennel and his things outside, he's posted on Facebook, I call as much as I can and when I can at my apartment, at night, around my apartment, and driving all in the area, I've slept on my couch often so I can hear if he scratches at the door, I've called the pound, emails and faxes have been sent to every animal related place in the area, and I've posted on Craigslist. I've tried cooking with the windows open..I'm getting frustrated and sad because everyone sees him but me. He seemed happy but I think is trying to just run around. I keep praying and am trying to let him come home on his own but I'm impatient and don't want him to get hit. I can get a humane trap but he's all over the place and I don't know that he'd go in one..and I'd probably get every darn cat in that trap first. Any ideas of what else I can do? |

| Sounds like your little guy is having quite the adventure, I'd try leaving your garage door open just enough for him to get in, so if he does wander back home, he can at least go in there if you aren't home. Is it a small town? I'd let the police know, in our area we all know the town cops well and I'd bet they would be able to keep an eye open for you. Hugs!! |

| He must be having a lot of fun, he likes to be outside. Unfortunately I don't have a garage but I put his covered crate outside with his things in it and a piece of my clothing. I had given one officer a flyer when I saw him but I just called the sheriff department and he said they didn't deal with that stuff...well obviously you don't but I'm askin you too! It's not really a small town but it's not a big city. It's a college town but feels more like a big small town if that makes sense? Thank you, I just want him to come home. |

| God has answered our prayers!!! I got a missed call from the Humane Society who said they gave my number to a man who they believe had my dog. The man called me and said he found a white dog with a sweater on in one of his buildings outside so he grabbed him and fed him, gave him a bath, etc. My boyfriend left work (engineer on night shift) and we went to the man's house and there he was!! I'm so grateful for him taking him in and calling, I'm making him a delicious meal or treat tomorrow. Bradley was 2-3 miles away which is a big hike. Needless to say, I am going to be very very careful with how I let him out, etc and I will be taking him on lots of walks and trips to the dog park so he can get his energy out. He's definitely lost some weight so I'm going to have to get canned food tomorrow or I may cook some burger to mix in with his food. He was still dirty so I gave him a good bath and will have to treat him for fleas/ticks although I picked all 2 of the fleas off of him. His little nose is so red I guess from getting scratched up but he'll be ok. I see a lot of sleep in his future the next couple days! Thank you all for praying and thinking of us. I'm so happy he's home, it hasn't really sunk in yet.

| Oh yay!!!! I was laying here with my pups reading through all you went through and hoping you found him!!!
My little dog has innocently wandered before after escaping a fence I didn't think he could escape from and my big dog has a thing for chasing deer. I am so very blessed they've both come back and I cannot wait to get moved in a month to a place with a huge fenced yard!
So happy he's home, what a little doll! |
