| Just wondering everyones thoughts on this video? https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=757875904309081&pnref=story
Its had over 3000 likes and several comments agreeing with her point of view....
Personally I find it ridiculous and a good summary of what is wrong with women in barrel racing...JEALOUSY!!
Maybe im taking it the wrong way, I have a great sense of humour, BUT I don't find this funny at all....Why cant women be nice!!
PS>>Im over 50 been a 1D winner on different horses, no daddies money, and I can back up and park my trailer all day long AND I don't wear my hat backwards! |

I mean, if there ARE spoiled brats that are snotty and look down on people that's one thing, but if you (or your daddy) can afford a nice rig and a horse and you're doing your thing not hurting anyone, then I don't frickin care. Good for you! |

| Honestly.. she sounds trashy because of the cussing. I couldn't even finish the video. Too bad, pretty girl. I find no humour in making fun of people, or creating a video to stir up things.. I call that fishing. Better left to the people with poles and better bait. |

| I only listened to the first minute, I get tired of the "they didn't earn it" and "they bought their way into the 1D" argument. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't earn it, so what?? Fact of life is some people have lots of $$ and can buy those 1D horses. Get over it and have enough character to not bash others because their way is different from yours, now that is being shallow.

Maybe you should listen again.. She never said they Bought their way into 1D... We all know that can't be done. You have to RIDE your way into 1D. She says they SHOW UP with a 100k horse....

| This girl comes off as nothing but jealous. When you go around in life complaining about other people and what they "have" or what they don't have...or what you feel they should be doing....your just setting yourself up to live a miserable green with envy life. There will always be someone richer, younger, prettier and a better rider than you. Get over it. I could care less how much the horse cost, if your clocking in the 1D, you know how to ride.....period. So what if her boyfriend saddles her horse and gets him out for her.....once again....jealous. C'mon ladies...we are so much better than this. |

By saying she shows up with a 100,000 horse is implying she bought herself into the 1D. If she truly knew that you had to RIDE into the 1D...the price of the horse wouldn't be relevant and she wouldn't complain about it. She clearly has an issue with a nice rig too..... We all hear this all the time at barrel racings...so and so paid this much for that horse and so and so paid that much...................WHO CARES get on your horse and shut up.....there are millions of girls who will never get the chance to even ride on a 2,000 horse. |

| I liked it, a little to much cussing for my taste but still pretty funny.
Her main point was "own it", dont pretend you trained and worked your butt off to get a 1D horse when all you did was pay for it and follow the trainers instructions and if you have a problem with that its probably how you made it into the 1D... |

Location: Stuck in a cubicle having tropical thoughts | I hope everyone realizes that she is an "entertainer" and she makes and posts these videos daily. Usually multiple videos a day. This is actually the first one I've come across that talks about barrel racers. I've been following her for awhile on facebook and I was never under the impression that she is a barrel racer.
She made a video making fun of people who lounge their horse. I about died laughing.
She reminds me of "Cody Lynn Dennis" the "nut up, shut up and quit being stupid, stupid" guy, who is also an entertainer. Both of these entertainers actually make money off being online entertainers. They both sell t-shirts, etc. they are entrepreneurs. They are not doing anything that Corban Livingston isn't doing or saying.
Her accent does drive me a little crazy but find one of her videos where she is singing and playing the guitar. You won't even believe it's the same girl.
Smile. Lighten up. If this girl is the biggest thing that's irritated you today, then you should count your blessings. |

She is what makes "country" people seem uneducated and trashy. And the fact that she is passing judgment on how barrel racers ride makes me shake my head... I watched a video of her and the horse "she's training".... she's whippin and ridin around this arena on a colt that doesn't even know how to stop. Ridiculous. |

I like Corban's videos. They are pretty darn accurate.
I think the difference between Corban and this gal, is that Corban seems legit and authentic. The vast majority of his videos don't have nasty language, and he gets his point across with offending. His videos really are all in good fun.
I would say the majority of barrel racers can spot a phony in a heartbeat. |

I know girls that have expensive horses and still work their butt off to get in the 1D. Just because you have the money to buy a 1D horse doesn't mean you don't have to work to get there. Unless your already a talented rider and can ride a talented horse...then good for you. |

Actually some of the great trainers prefer to work their horses on the barrels out in a pasture because then they don't rely on the fence to turn. And I know one NFR qualifer that had a shed row barn and no arena. Having said that this girl hit on my last nerve. Who cares who has what? |

I am pretty sure the rich people with all their "things " are just trying to have a good time and really don't have time to worry about what her type think of them. |

I'm sorry but most of this girl's posts drive me up the wall. She seems jealous and hateful. She has a post about hat etiquette and that after Memorial Day to Labor Day you wear a straw hat. It is like the end of the world to her for someone to be wearing a felt hat during the summer. Seriously! I don't have time to care about what type of hat others are wearing!! I feel a felt hat is classy and I don't care for the look of many straw hats...just not my thing. I guess I am just a wannabe then. Also, MOST NFR qualifiers not only in barrels but in roping, steer wrestling, etc all paid lots of $$$ for those finished horses. Yes, there are some girls that let daddy buy them everything and are spoiled but you know what? Live YOUR life and work harder to beat them! If they don't put in the time and can't ride then that 1D horse won't last long and they should not be that difficult to beat. Just be happy with you and don't worry about everyone else. I will prob buy a felt this year, but since I never wear it, I felt like it was kind of a waste. I bet you wear white after Labor Day too??? LOL - no worries, I only own a straw hat. Didn't know there was a "rule" for that.
Ha, I'll rock my white pleather pants with pride. I'm such a trendsetter. |

PS: she needs to shut up and drive honestly. Stop making videos while driving down the road. It's just stupid. I hope she doesn't run into or over someone while filming her childish rants. |

Her main point was "own it", dont pretend you trained and worked your butt off to get a 1D horse when all you did was pay for it and follow the trainers instructions and if you have a problem with that its probably how you made it into the 1D... I know girls that have expensive horses and still work their butt off to get in the 1D. Just because you have the money to buy a 1D horse doesn't mean you don't have to work to get there. Unless your already a talented rider and can ride a talented horse...then good for you. And those people can usually make it into the top 10 on a stick horse even!! I like the pay for it and follow the trainers instructions path, lol. In all seriousness though, I agee you have to be able to ride them, a talented horse without a talented rider is a 3D horse and I am proof of that. No way do I have the skills to ride my horses like my girls can. They do not ride anymore but will go to a race every now and then. They can hop on and go lay down a 1D run on the same horse I was just in the 3D on the prior weekend. Money is an advantage, you don't have to make a horse. Having the time and skills to train your own horse is an advantage too, one I wish my girls had. I would have loved for my girls to have grown up with someone who could have passed that knowledge on to them. We did not feel our girls had the skill or time to train one to be ready for high school rodeo but wanted them to learn the right way. We had the $$ so when they were ready for a 1D horse we were able to buy them and we found the best trainer to teach them so they would learn those skills. They had been taking lessons from another trainer for a few years and she had a real problem with the fact we could go drop a wad of cash on a horse. She kept telling us that growing up she did not have parents who were supportive of her interest in horses and she did not have anybody who could by her nice horses and did not think it was right. I told her I was sorry that she did not get that support and interest from her parents but that was her life and not my kids life who did have supportive parents with money and I was not going to make her story my kids story. Everyones path or way of doing things will never be the same, some have more talent, some have more $$, some have both, my kids had $$ and a great work ethic. If you are constantly comparing and resenting someone because they had the advantage of having a mom who is a trainer or they came from a rodeo family or they have $$, you are setting yourself up for some hard feelings. You cannot control it so why even worry about it or waste energy on it.

He also will unload my horses and help me saddle. Not because I'm a witchy princess. Not because I'm high maintanance. But because he enjoys helping me and wants to be a part of what I do. I am more than capable of doing everything myself. But I love having my best friend right there with me. We have an awesome truck, a nice trailer, good horses, etc. And although I can never DESERVE what I have been BLESSED with, I do work hard and try hard. It sucks when people are grouped up together when someone doesn't know them. |

Honestly.. she sounds trashy because of the cussing. I couldn't even finish the video. Too bad, pretty girl. I find no humour in making fun of people, or creating a video to stir up things.. I call that fishing. Better left to the people with poles and better bait.

| I think she's a good reminder that there's all kinds of kinds out there. She's not afraid to voice her true opinion of people, right, wrong, or indifferent. There's a pretty solid set of people that feel the same way as she does when it comes to money and power. They can't afford it, so they don't understand it. Therefore, it's hateful to them and worthy of flaming. I don't think she's trashy, I think she's punchy/ranchy as all get out and gets really sick of people with money acting like they own the world.
She probably wouldn't approve of my rig. She probably wouldn't approve of my horses. She probably wouldn't approve of really anything about me, especially my Charlie Horse hat that I paid an effing fortune for and really love wearing no matter what season it is.
But I'm glad she exists, and I'm glad she's loud. She's there to remind us all that underneath it all, whether we earned it , didn't earn it, can't tell if somebody earned it or didn't earn it, we're just humans. Humans that when stripped of all the junk, all the glitter, or all the most basic essentials, need to treat each other with more understanding and kindness. She's there to remind us that there's different mindsets always, and that even if somebody can't stand us, that they still have feelings and thoughts and are deserving of basic human rights. She might do this by showing us how a narrow view can insult, upset, and hurt others, but I think notes can be taken on how NOT to act, no matter which side of the Great Checkbook Divide you're standing on. Plenty of folks would treat this girl poorly in real life, as I'm sure she'd treat them badly in return. Such a great example for reasons to look for the bigger picture and gain some tolerance. |

I don't think anyone has ever won a check, no matter how big or small, without hard work. Horses don't ride themselves. They don't feed themselves. They don't make their own chiro/vet/farried appointments either. That's all work. Some harder than others.
I don't see how the price of your horse or your rig matter anyways. I have a 'cheap' horse and an old steel trailer hooked to an older model diesel truck. But it's paid for doggone it and I like it! And I've never been talked down to because of what I drove to the show. I showed up. I paid my fees. Just like everyone else. We all run through the same alley on the same pattern on the same dirt. Some people choose to be uppity. So be it. I've never lost sleep over it. Nor have i ever used the term 'fake racers'. Must be a wherever she's from thing. Who knows.

Omg if you only knew me in real life. I've got a really strong mouth on me...like an oilfield sailor...and I consider myself to not be classless. I dunno though, if that's your measuring stick, then I'm there.
I do try really hard to not be too colorful in front of little kids and strangers, but the occasional slip has happened. I do also watch myself in company meetings, but honestly I really do have strong language. It's just the way it is. I'll be one of those grandmothers that makes the teenagers turn inside out: "Wow! I CANNOT believe that sweet looking old lady SAID THAT!!!"
The video, I didn't even notice the cussing, until somebody mentioned it and I thought about it. I guess it's her Facebook page, and it is America, she can talk how she wants. Not much about our world is censored anymore. :( |

Is this not simple?? You earn you spot by running the fastest time... Don't matter if you're running a $100k horse or a $100 mule... Al these people out there that pretend a cuss word never came out of their mouth are pi$$ing me off..

I was at a FB poker table just last night. we had what we call a troll. there he kept going all in at 400k on a 1k/2k blind table... I ummm.. disparaged him for doing this every hand... his response to me?? "F### you in the a$$"... I had to say it.... "Maybe we should be friends a while before we do that".... He then lost two 400k hands to me and left the table... |

That girl can sing!!! I find most of her stuff amusing. |

I think she'd be hilarious to hang out with. We all have something in common regardless of the discipline- horses.. I'm going to venture she's going to be just as nice to someone as they are to her. |

LOL Omg if you only knew me in real life. I CANNOT believe that sweet looking old lady SAID THAT!!!" The video, I didn't even notice the cussing, until somebody mentioned it and I thought about it. I guess it's her Facebook page, and it is America, she can talk how she wants. Not much about our world is censored anymore. : ( But you dont video yourself and put it out there for everybody to see right? I cuss too but I would not cuss like that in front of a camara and want others to see me cussing and put it out there for others to see and hear how horrible it sounds, I cuss mostly to myself. LOL And then I get mad at myself for doing it because its very classless sounding I think. But why??? Are you afraid someone out here might hear you swear?? Do you believe we would think less of you?? Are you afraid to stand up to some vulgar cowboy because he will use words you will not use in public?? I don't see you backing down to someone like that..
If I heard someone cussing really bad and useing the F bomb to many times, and if theres kidos around you bet I will say something and I have. But the real Cowboys I know are not vulgar.
Now... you bring something else into the equation.... Cussing around kids....You don't even want to Start with me on that... |

| I am actually acquainted with this girl. Yes, that is her real accent-she's from Arkansas originally. She is exceptionally intelligent-college graduate (double major) with plans to attend medical school. She has a heart of gold and yes, she has a girlfriend. Yes, she cusses a lot but she gets her point across! What comedians don't take small little idiosyncrasies of daily life and blow them up into something funny. If you don't like it, don't listen.
The conversation regarding those who "have" and those who "have not" I agree that if you were born with money and your daddy buys you everything-don't act like you're the "same" as everyone else. Personally, I DO have a whole lot more respect for those who show up in a rusted up old trailer and truck than those who have the sparkly new stuff.
Another point--it's one thing to have your parent's buy you everything. What about the ones who are homewreckers who go after married men with money and have them buy the horse, the trailer, the pick up etc etc. I suppose that's ok too? They may have eventually made it on their own, with the horse they could afford. |

I know several girls who talk about how they worked so hard to earn everything they have, yet have never worked a day in their lives. When I was living on Daddy's dollar and someone asked me how I bought a new truck, or a nice new horse, my reply was "With Daddy's checkbook!". I still worked my tail off to be able to ride well enough to get a high powered, high dollar horse and make adjustments to someone else's style while going that fast.
Lighten up folks! Everyone has a different sense of humor. |

Why? I don't understand this concept. I have an older rig but you bet your tail if I could afford a nice new 4 horse with a decent LQ with a nice truck to haul it around with I would for sure have it!! I would still be a beginner with a slower horse. Wouldn't change much. I think those "rusty" rigs are few and far between anymore. Even the broke folks upgrade someday. I'm still waiting! haha. |

On the other hand we have a local girl that runs a bunch of great horses and im pretty sure she raises and trains them herself. A few of the girls started talking trash in front of me about money and this and that about the girl, I put a stop to that quick fast and in a hurry! I told them she runs races from fri-sun 14 hours away and still shows up to the jackpots during the week and if you all were that dedicated you might actually out run her. They got pretty quiet and quit talking that crap around me.
But yeah, own it and be honest about it. |

I was lucky that I had 2 Granddaddys and a Daddy who did well for themselves. I didn't have to make the money to pay for the things that I had at that age, but you'd better believe that I had to earn the money that I got! Dad owned a landscaping business and from the time I was 13, I would get sent off with a crew and ran the edger and leaf blower. Sure, I got paid more for doing that than the company probably got paid for doing the whole job, but if I wanted money, I was expected to sweat! The other thing about Daddy was this, I might easily spend $80k on a horse, but you had better believe that sucker had a big ole' gaping hole in it that had it not been there, the horse would have been priced at $150k and I had better figure out how to work with it and win! lol |

Location: Missouri | I'm kind of joining the conversation late here..,but I have a confession. I'm not too great at backing up my rig, and when I go to races, I ALWAYS look for a 'pull thru' spot!
However, I also didn't get the chance to even pull a truck and trailer til I was 20. I'm 24. In high school my stepdad would drive me to like one race a month (I paid for the fuel),his truck was brand new at the time and he babied it. I was NOT allowed to drive. When I was 20 my husband and I bought our first truck, and I finally learned to pull a rig. I can back just fine in familiar places but otherwise I still suck at it. Needless to say I look forward to the day we can afford to upgrade to a gooseneck!

I think your post makes a good point. If you analyze her rant, she says she is not talking about people who have earned it. So, even if you do some of the things she talks about, she says she's not talking about you IF you have "earned it". Problem is, her rant leaves you feeling like she is talking about you if you have a nice rig or a helpful boyfriend or a nice hat or you drive through a spot instead of backing in or whatever else she goes on about. So, when you have earned nice things or worked your way up to where you can afford a nice horse, people will look down on you because posts such as that get a lot of attention. After all, nobody can tell how you got where you are. |

I have an accent, and I can identify different regions by nuances in their accent--please don't blame her being from Arkansas for that voice! LOL
Naw that sh*t sounds put on! I have an accent(TX) too but some of those nuances sound fake to me. And again, i don't find her funny. The cussing doesn't bother me but the humor sux. |

I'm kind of joining the conversation late here..,but I have a confession. I'm not too great at backing up my rig, and when I go to races, I ALWAYS look for a 'pull thru' spot!
However, I also didn't get the chance to even pull struck and trailer til I was 20. I'm 24. In high school my stepdad would drive me to like one race a month (I paid for the fuel ),his truck was brand new at the time and he babied it.
Exactly!!! My husband used to go and help me all the time, because for the longest time I felt like such a fish out of water driving a truck and trailer, I liked having him around for those times that there were no more pull thru spots, etc.
But I also don't have a brand new truck and I pull a 99 steel bumper pull...so I guess that makes it ok? ;) lol! |

I have watched several of her videos that have shown up on my news feed. I don’t find her humorous, don’t really appreciate her language and find this latest video disingenuous at best……she puts out videos in a public media “dissing” others and then doesn’t like when it comes back to bite her in the a$$……give me a break! |

If she's "outspoken and doesn't care what people think about her" then this thread won't bother her at all. She'll never give it a second thought.

Location: hot, humid and dry...Gulf coast East of Houston.. | I have seen her videos, and I take them with a grain of salt, like most threads on here.. Just a form of entertainment. I see a lot of people on here bashing her for her views on someone pulling up in a rig they didnt earn, or buy themself, on a horse the same way that cant ride it. Whats funny to me is that this topic has been beat to death on here time and time again about just what she is saying, but I guess its ok to make fun of and gripe about it if its done here behind a screen name, or even a real name, just not on someones own fb page? Hypocritical much? |
