Location: Florida | I just like having something to watch on barrel racing. I don't think they'll give too much away because most of these girls have things you can BUY for tips. Yesterday's was better than the dog training one! lol
I do agree I wish they'd talk more about some things related to their processes with their barrel racing careers and their horses, even if they didn't give out too many riding tips! |

Location: Missouri | I have been enjoying them all. Are they completely about barrel racing, no, but it gives an inside look into these girl's lives. Barrel racing isn't just riding and training and racing, it's a daily routine these girls do everyday and the look into these girls lives is interesting. Horses make them money, but their pets and daily habits is what separates them. We can buy training tips from these girls or go to clinics, but we can't buy a look into who they are as people. |

I thought about leaving a comment on their FB page too but didn't want to seem like I wanted to take anything away from the service man who was on there. The first 2 shows were good but the exercise show, the dog training show, and last night the bird and pig show....UGH, lol. Also, I'm not sure letting them know we would love more barrel racing content would help for this season anyway....I'm sure all the shows were filmed months ago. Does anyone know? I really love the idea of this show and appreciate all the hard work and effort that has been put into it though!! |

I think the name makes it misleading... "Racers Edge" gives me the impression that you are going to hear about things that give them an "edge" over the competition. I'm not a very starstruck person so the spotlight on who the barrel racer is doesn't really interest me. I do wish them luck with the show though.

| I am not a star struck kind of person. I don't buy People or any of those mags, but I love people watching. I am a pretty plain person and I love seeing how different everyone is. If you really watch you will see a little bit of why they are where they are in barrel racing. Did anyone catch how honest Taylor Jacob was about doing so well at her first NFR and then the following season? Or Ryanne's view of herself. To me it humanizes them and encourages people to keep trying to be their best. |

I loved the show featuring Taylor!! It was so great to hear her talk about that pressure she felt which she let get to her. She forgot to just go out and ride for herself and not for everyong else. It was so real and I think we all can relate (maybe on a smaller scale but just the same). |

I really enjoyed the show with Taylor too. That is more of the meat, for me. Good one on one conversation about the struggles they have delt with and the things they have had to overcome. That is good stuff to me!

I wish they were all like that one... I guess we can always buy a trainingbarrelhorses membership though if we want to see more stuff like that. Does anyone know if that was from the Q and A webcast they did |

...how do I know i don't like it, till I watch it?? The name implies it's going to be about racing, not dog training. I think Dena would not mind input on what viewers want to see. High view ratings =high advertising rates=ultimate longevity of the show. Do the math. I love Dena, by the way, and didn't necessarily DISlike the dog thing, but I recorded it to watch and learn about barrel training, not dog training. It's simply my opinion, you don't have to be rude. Have a nice day :) |

BTW- I wouldn't even mention this show in the same breath as that other one "Rodeo girls" .

The reason they are only showing these ladies (which I like all of them, don't get me wrong) is because they are all sponsored by the main sponsor of the show.... |

Location: IL | I think last nights show was better than the other 2 previous episodes. Sherri did give some pointers on a tie down and bit and on the horse chewing the lead rope. That was an excellent idea. I was just glad to see some of the girls talking about there animals and it had something to do with Barrelracing. You don't want to go off topic too far because then you will lose your audience and then there will be no show. |

I totally agree and why isn't anything free anymore. I pay for the dish so I'm also paying for this program. I don't have money to buy tips online and be apart of a web page. This program is also advertising it's products, so I would think if you want to keep your audience then you would stay on topic. You don't have to tell us every trick of the trade, but atleast keep us interested. Everything now is about money. |

Location: North MS | I haven't even seen it yet due to no longer having Dish Network- but what would be neat to me would be still have their basic regular content and then have a "problem solving" section. Maybe let viewers submit videos of their problem issues (big or little things) or even have some of the pro's, almost pro's or whoever take that person and do a short video with that exact horse and rider on their first step to fix it on video and then talk them through the next steps. Kind of like the clinton and cervi video series about fixing the gate sour horse part. Working behind the gate and then resting at it. Or as simple as- this horse flinging it's head behind the barrel and doing a bit change- before and after all the while talking about the bit and it's use. This would be more training and trade secrets- yes, but I'm not talking about taking up an entire show. Just a short bit. Or even have them do demos of their video reviews from the subscription website- such as hey- we received this video from Jane Doe, she can't get her horse in proper position leaving second barrel. Here is what we suggested. Quick little tidbits- advertises their subscription service and provides that tasty bit of knowledge in an example form everyone craves. Just an idea. But from what I am gathering on the show, it features one main subject throughout the show instead? |

Location: Nebraska | I agree with the above post. It doesn't necessarily have to be ALL about training. I can pay for clinics, that website, ect for that but they should remember that I'm not getting this show for free. I'm still paying to get the channel. However, it would be cool to do a pro tip section kind of like the WPRA show does. Also, they can add more about what it's like just being in their shoes like what it's like to enter and balance home life, helpful road tips, and all of that. |

Well I picked up RFDTV just for the American, WPRT, etc and I do believe it was only an additional $5 or $10.... For the "heartland" package.... I guess if my budget was that tight I wouldn't have cable and would save my money for clinics or lessons if I felt the need to spend money on help. Not rely on a TV show. There is a website you can pay to watch videos of these gals and others, giving actual tips and tricks. Thats probably money better spent if you want anything more than entertainment, IMO.

I thought the same thing - seemed like they had extra footage of pets and threw it all together for a show. Then at the end were some random pieces of runs - seemed like they pieced together the scraps to make a show. I loved the first few episodes but the dog training one and this one were not my favorites. Even though the animals were cute, the only "tip" I got was from Sherry Cervi about undoing the chin strap to put it behind the tie down. That was helpful. |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | I like the show. But, I'll watch just about anything with those gals in it. Heck, I enjoyed the camera just following Sherry Cervi around her place. I was looking at her set up in the background as they were following her. I also liked the chain in the lead rope. Wish I knew where I could buy one of those! I think it's much better TV than most of the stuff I end up watching. |
