Trying to see how many of ya'll would be interested in a BB trail horse ride. If you'll poll what state you're from so we can find somewhere kind of central area to host it that'd be great! It's going to be for everyone, but I think it would be a great way for us single cowgirls and cowboys to meet new people. We can do a bonfire afterwards, Maybe make it a weekend thing or an overnight event. I know we're going to do shirts, but I want to see how many ppl are interested before I start looking into that too much. If you have any ideas please post them. Add you state to the poll if you're interested and select it if it's already on there.

Anyone have any catchy/cute single cowboy and cowgirl phrases for shirts? Maybe some happily married phrases. Or even bible verse references. I'm looking into what would look good on them =) Keep the polling!! After we have a few states and see where the most ppl that are interested live we'll start talking location ideas!

It would be fun, but probably not something I could do...at least at this time, as my dad is ill. But I'm more than happy to help think up cool things to say on t-shirts and stuff like that! I haven't come up with anything yet, but give me some time. :

The shirt is super cute! I'd totally be in if any other ND BB's are interested...if I ever get my horses sound that is.

So with the number of people who want to go in Texas, and the location of the majority of people being in the surrounding states. It looks like the first BB trail ride will be around the arkansas/oklahoma state line area or perhaps the texas/arkansas state line meet up

Any ideas with that kind of perimeter in mind that would be a good place that can host a trail ride? Is there maybe a state park there or something that allows for weekend setups? We'll have to be very weather conscious seeing as this tends to be tornado season. But I figured we'll plan it a little over a month out. Does that time frame give everyone enough time to have the gas money/hauling situations figured out? I'll probably have a couple friends come with me. Once I figure out how many I'll post if theres any space in the trailers for anyone that wants to come with from TN =)

What about these shirts. They're kinda plain in color. But clipart doesnt like any color but white lol.  I still like the other idea too. These are much cheaper than the other website I found. So it's possible to do two different shirts. =)

I kinda of like that one too, and they're much cheaper because I found the decals on seperate sites.  I have a couple places in mind, but it looks like the trail ride will be some where in arkansas near Texas.

Also, ya'll can invite anyone  =) not necessarily BHW ppl only, it's a meet and greet. I'm bringing my brother and probably a few friends. So we can all cut the hauling costs. I'm thinking a month out, a weekend in May?  Once I get a few locations in mind I'll post a poll and we can all vote. The most votes will be the location and then I'll setup a way to  "RSVP" So I know how many shirts to order and  we can determine how much everyon needs to bring. Any additonal money will be donated to whatever organization we come up with that we would like to donate too!

I'm excited. I kind of like this event planning stuff.

A to Z Guest Ranch in (I think!!!!) Smith OK is nice---have hookups and cabins. Plus owner is a gourmet chef that prepares meals for guests if anyone wants that. We went and loved it.

And I vote for the second shirt!

We can have a Texans only trail ride, prior to the other, so we can get our horses legged up and ready! Lol
^ That was a joke.

Keep in mind May is a busy month for some... graduations, end of school year moving, Mother's Day and Memorial Day....

Hmm oh yea. Forgot about all those. I'll poll some dates and see what we come up with.  I'll posted 5 dates and whatever is voted the most is the date we'll choose. Thanks for bringing that up.

I lo0ked into that ranch. Thats kind of pricey considering you pay for hookups/camping spots plus the trai rides are pretty steep. I figure after everyones spent the gas hauling, the less they spend at the location the better. Going to try and find something with corrals/stalls available if you want them, but regular set up spots for ppl who are just going to use their trail and maybe mobile pens for their horses.

What are ya'll opinions on this one? It looks affordable, with several good trails to chose from, places to set up, shower accesses and picket/pens. Looks affordable. It's a little more north than I was looking for. But the closer to texas i look they're either pricey or they "trail rides" are pretty much around the farm rides. Lol

americanpride08 - 2015-04-04 8:42 AM What about these shirts. They're kinda plain in color. But clipart doesnt like any color but white lol.  I still like the other idea too. These are much cheaper than the other website I found. So it's possible to do two different shirts. =)

I think I like this one even better.  I need to rally some more North Dakota people!

Depending on the time of year, I think it would be a great place! I've been in that area a couple of times, the fall is too rainy, and the summer to hot/humid, but about this time of the year ought to be about right! JMO, to any of those who live there. I'm from Montana and it is dry here most of the time so any humidity seems like a lot, LOL. The country there is fairly hilly with quite a few trees too.

Didn't remember A to Z being that costly, maybe they went up since we were there! The thing with north AR is most places are gonna have steep hills, cliffs, etc. But they usually have trails of all levels. And once you get past May it's hot (and humid!!!) as can be. We tried to stay at Cowboy Up last year but could never get a reservation, so I can't offer my opinion there.
