Ok I have been asked to help with a benefit barrel race for one of our own! A young mother has had some emergency medical issues and has had a couple of helicopter rides and insurance is not wanted to pay! This is a super sweet family and I want to be able to help as much as I can!
I have no problems running the barrel race but I need ideas on where and what to ask for donations for a silent auction to help out as well!
Any advice would be helpful! Thanks and everyone have a Happy Easter!

We had a live auction at our last benefit that we did for a local family her in OK. The silent auctions are ok but the live auction with an auctioneer gets people involved and always does amazing!! Lots of people just show up with items for it, the used tack was a big hit, all of us always have some of that laying around. We allowed an hour between the exhibitions and race for the auction. We shut the arena down, and the entry office so we could all participate in it. We didn't allow people in there riding when it was going on.
