Psalm 60:1 O God, You have cast us off; You have broken us down; You have been displeased; Oh, restore us!
Have you ever noticed that when something takes you by surprise , your first reaction is the wrong one? As spiritual as we think we are, we do not seem to be wired for the unexpected. Now, that does not mean we stay that way, or that our minds and spirits don't get in gear, and we do the right thing. It's just that when life throw us a curve ball, it takes us time to make the right attitude adjustment.
David trusted in The Lord, and The Lord honored his faith. The storms will come, but remember , God is faithful. He didn't save you to spoil your life, but to bless you and be glorified through you. When the surprises come, stand on the promises of God.
Restore Gods favor by being the light for someone else. How you act, speak and react shows where you are in Christ. By keeping our eyes focused on Jesus and knowing He has a plan, a purpose, and a reason.
For it is with God all things are possible.
Father, I lift up all those in struggle, help each of us to be the light, guide us to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You AMEN
