I have that exact bit - a Simplicity knockoff. Streak loves it. However he occasionally forgets how to stop in it so I'm not sold on running in it every time. LOL. It's very light to say the least. I haven't run any other horses in it and I'm thinking it might be a touch too much gag for him. Might be a good choice for Chance who needs no handling in a run. I did put bit guards on it just to be on the safe side.

Thanks much for the info! I've been looking at sweet six bits (between a dogbone and life saver mouth) and ran across this one because I like the mouthpiece. My mare isn't fond of a whole lot of gag or shank, but leans on just a regular snaffle so am looking to try something new.

Streak liked this better than the chain mouth Sweet Six. I'm not quite sure why. Was kind of hoping others would have input on this bit so I could learn too!
