Location: Gainesville, TX | So my mare finally had her baby this morning. We still need to get close enough to check if its a boy or girl. But here are some pics from a bit away.

Love his/her pedigree! NICE!
This one was meant for the track! But then we decided to breed the mare to DTF; we will probably take the DTF to the track instead. Maybe someone else will still want to run this one. I made this cross specifically because I believe this little one could be a speed demon. And it should be a looker based on this mare's other offspring. |

Me too lol. But we won't bother her until she settles down. We imprint train ours and are going to see it tomorrow and imprint. The first day this mare always wants space so we give it to her. |

This mare almost always throws fillies. I'm a bit surprised too.
ETA: MIL just says that she hasn't seen his equipment yet but he'd have to have really tiny female plumbing to be a filly.

Yes, GLP, this is Zephyr's half brother and looks exactly like her except for one less hind sock. Even the one sock he has is exactly the same height as hers. |

Hes going to be a good looking boy when he grows up, if I had the time for a baby and a safe place for keeping a baby I would really think hard about getting him. Hes going to make someone really happy one day. |

Your good lol. :) Thanks just for liking him. We're very proud of him and all our horses. I'm tickled pink when anyone likes them too. We imprinted him and he is as sweet tempered as they come. Really excited about his future. |

I need to tell my husband this. He still thinks it would be a great name for people to bet on if someone wanted to run him on the track. I got some good suggestions from some people on here though and am considering them. When we decide I'll post so everyone can know. It is a cute name though. :) |
