Hodges Futurity bit! Preferably the chain mouth one but the twisted and dog bone ones are good too! Favorite bit and I'm not kidding almost every horse I put it in likes it!

I end up using the Million Dollar Bit for almost every horse and rider combination at my house. Sometimes the short shank, sometimes the long shank. This love affair has been going on about 10 years now. I kind of worried about that until a Dena Kirkpatrick video eased my mind. She said all three factors had to be considered in deciding..... the horse, the bit, and the rider. I start out riding different bits and then gravitate to this one for runs. We ride in a variety of bits around the house.

WetSaddleBlankets - 2015-04-09 12:48 PM LOVE LOVE LOVE my reinsman o-ring combo. Works well with my two horses.
What made you decide to use the oring combo? Just curious :)
Both my horses run good in hacks and they are super broke. I wanted something that wouldn't make them to stiff but yet worked off their nose first. The reinsman o ring combo was perfect since that is how it works. I have just the right amount of lift and control with it too.
