 What type of hills are best?  I have a hill that is pretty gradual in slope and a hill that is fairly steep (as in I probably don't want to ride this one, but I wouldn't mind working it on the ground)... and then I have one that is the perfect slope, but it's not very long at all.

any hill works. I make mine walk and trot only up them. Cantering doesn't make them engage their hind end
