Ok, so I am in search of barrel horse #2 (My horse #1 is wonderful and I just love him to pieces but I am now ready to step up to a faster horse, still sane and with manners but a bit faster). In order to purchase this horse #2 I have to sell one of my other horses. The horse for sale is in training and being promoted and according to the person in charge of the sale it would not be a problem to sell her at all. So my question to you guys, is it ok to start looking and trying out horses? Every time I inquire about a horse, I always make sure I explain my situation to the seller.
why not browse now......when your horse sells....then for sure look. Alot of sellers think that "I need to sell my horse first" is kind of a tire kicker thing....Some understand, and some dont
I would wait until I actually had cash in hand to go try a horse. I look online all the time but I won't waste someone else's time if I can't actually buy it. JMO
thanks guys... I totally understand. It takes me forever to find the right horse as I am not your average confident rider, if anything I am a timid and doubt myself a lot (although this barrel racing new career has made me a lot braver than I ever though I would EVER be) so I thought if I start now by the time I find the "one" I would have everything lined up. Thanks for all your input
