I am currently riding a horse for my cousin. The horse is about 100lbs under weight. I noticed that one of her hip bones is higher than the other??? She is not lame on it nor it is sore. However, she does tend to loose her hind in in turns when working her so i am wondering if this may be a cause? I did some research and i seen where is may mean the SI bone? Please help!

That is an indicator that her hips are not aligned. A good equine chiropractor can fix that.

It also could be a broken pelvis at some point of her life.
