If anyone would be willing to make a puppy train to get him closer to me, I would be grateful. My heart is aching :) He is at the Critter Oasis in Monahans. He is paid for. I'll be near Tyler on Sunday and can drive a little further. I'd appreciate any help. |

| I can't be gone again this weekend, but you could just come visit me and pick him up. If she can get him next week, I am not sure we could get him on a plane any faster than that. I could do that for you if necessary. There are strict temperature guidelines, but if we got him on early in the morning he could get to you before it gets hot. |

But no matter what, hubby and I are going out the weekend of the 25th and can pick him up for you then if no one else can. All the people that support you will make sure you get your new puppy. :) Hugs.
I'm sorry timing this weekend was off but my FIL went into surgery on Thursday night for his foot (they have to remove a portion), we have to move some furniture and get another mare to the vet for breeding and the timing just sent everything haywire. But my husband has some work out there next weekend and HAS to go. So you are still a central part of our plans. No matter your BHW board buddies will get Hootie to you. I'm so sorry for your pain and feel awful about having to postpone for a week. |

Location: DUMPING CATS AND PIGS IN TEXAS :) | I didn't cry, but I hugged him hard. And, the more I see his personality, the more I see Fred. He has a huge heart, snuggles, does not know that he has a bum leg. He's just a cool little dude. He's perfect. He's with me for life and I will love him as much as a person can love a chihuahua. He is not Fred, but he is a pretty awesome Hootie :)

I guess we can only do so much with what we have and there was a huge opening in my heart. Hootie sure does deserve some love. He has had a rough little life and walks around like it doesn't phase him. He really is a little inspiration to me. He doesn't feel sorry for himself, he doesn't complain...He just is happy and does the best that his little Hootie butt can :) |

I am so happy, he found such a great, loving home!! Jennifer, your sweet Fred is looking down on you and Hootie; he knows he won't ever be replaced, but he also knows how lucky Hootie is to have you!
Brandy, we sure are happy to be in the company of a toothless, drooling, barrel racing addict, like ourselves. Birds of a feather, flock together... ;)
But really, it was so kind of you to do what you did, for someone you didn't know... Makes my heart smile to know there are still good people in this world! |

| The rescue that had Hootie is struggling. First everyone moved to our area and when they couldn't find a place that took pets, they dumped them. Now, people are losing their jobs and dumping more. Here is a link if anyone wants to help them out. Five bucks would help.

Location: DUMPING CATS AND PIGS IN TEXAS :) | Ya'll I don't really trust sending my money places, but Hootie is a lot healthier than his first rescue pictures. The lady, Donna, never asked me to help and her adoption fee and process was reasonable. On her FB site she asked for simple things...paper towels, bleach, pine sol. I had applied to another shelter that was not easy to work with. Three vet references, 20 pictures later just wasn't enough. I applaud this shelter for trying and doing the best with what they have. Hootie had fleas. Flea pills are expensive, but other than that, he is a good weight, with his shots and fixed. I plan to send a box of things to help in Fred's honor. Even $5 will help. Hootie has a heart the size of Texas. If you are looking to help, but can't adopt, here is a good opportunity.
