What I love about TobyMac also is that he walks the walk all the time. I've heard so much about him and it all reflects his desire to have people see God in him and what he does. |

I listen to basically everything too although I'm not a fan of rap. Skillets the best to me because of how they sing about life & real feelings & when you see them live... your hooked for life! |

Same here. I played violin for 10 years so love some classical as well. I don't mind the contemporary christian rap, or some of it anyway. |

Location: The Great Midwest | I am an avid Christian music listener. I LOVE awake and alive! That song can get you pumped up and it's usually my go to song while working out. I actually just saw them in concert in February at our Winter jam, it was great! I love K love and it's often the only thing I listen to. My new favorite song is day one by Matthew west because it's so motivational! I lost my mom last October, and only being 24 i feel I've missed out on so much with her. But she was an avid k love listener and I feel like that and growing closer with the Lord has helped me through this whole situation. I was raised catholic and got away from the church for a while but I found a local Christian church and I now LOVE to go to church and don't find excuses! I feel so empowered by the end of the sermon and singing the same songs I hear on k love... It's great! |

Awesome! I'm terribly sorry for your loss but I'm glad you've found comfort in God! I love awake & alive, I also listen to it when I work out along with many other Skillet songs. I went to WJ two times this year, one in Chattanooga, TN & one in Lexington, KY, They were AWESOME! I find alot of comfort in they're songs, I grew up pretty rough & find I relate to they're songs alot. I use to listen to Klove also but haven't in awhile, my favorite contemporary christian artist is Jeremy Camp, his songs are VERY moving. I've been a Panhead since I was 11 & I'm now 18, how long have you been a fan? |

I've listened on and off since I was around 22 but just started last year when my mom was given her final 5 weeks listing all the time. I love Jeremy camp as well and his song "that's what faith can do" was the song that was playing on the background in the last voice recording I have of my mom. I honestly think the Lord placed it there for a reason. I unfortunately have no friends who listen or attend church. I hope to change that soon. |

Well hey just be a light of God to them & maybe they'll come around. Not everyody will but we can try :) Some people don't like church cause they think they'll be judged & it takes alot of convincing to get over that. It can suck though to be the only one around who truly cares about God, I've lost friends cause they thought I was too extreme about it. I've also had to defend God at times when my mom would freak out saying she hates him & satans right but I made it through & that only deepened my love for him :) When I was at WJ hearing Jeremy in person was very emotional for me, it really made me feel that it was all worth it :) What Faith Can Do is a very good song also but ain't that Kuless? |

Your right! Yes that one is by Kutless and was my mothers favorite song when she was first diagnosed. I meant I still believe by Jeremy Camp. I love the line "Even if I don't see, I still believe". That has helped me more then anything. |
