anyone  have an fx3 (or any other martin saddle) and had to slide the fender through the tree some when adjusting the stirrup? I have to adjust mine to the top hole bc I'm short, but I can't slide the dang fender through the tree bars. Does that make sense? It's like getting hooked on something. Any suggestions??

I didn't have to do it to my Martin, but I had to cut out some of the top of the fenders in order for them to swing more freely.

Well, apparently it's as high as they go. I'm just so darn short I'm not sure my stirrups will fit right. Uuuggghhhhh

Call Martin you can send it back and they will shorten the stirrups for you.

When I special ordered mine, I had them make mine 4" shorter
