The forecast for OKC(Dallas, too)this week looks bad.  Getting to BBR Finals looks like it will be tough and then Fri is forecast to have severe storms...but Sat and Sun are supposed to be nice!

Omg..... Please, no more rain. I'm about to go absolutely crazy if things don't dry out soon!

I hope for the sake of everyone that's in the storms' path that rain is all they entail!

You are not kidding about the rain!  In our area of east Texas we are "SWAMPED".  I just wanted to be able to GET to the BBR safely and deal with the storms while we are there, as we usually do.  Check in will be a nightmare if it is raining and storms.

We still need more rain in Western Oklahoma though, the rain we have got has been wonderful, but when lakes are running dry and towns are running out of water we have problems!!!!

Over here we need about a month straight of this, and then HOPEFULLY the lakes can retain enough water for towns to survive whether it be to support their own water needs or even tourists coming to spend the weekend on the lake!

Everyone please be careful traveling to OKC!  I hope the storms lay off a little bit at least for you all that will be on the road.  This time if year is so scary and yes, I hope we can get a little break after this week to dry out a bit.  I'm so thankful for the rain we've gotten, but it is pretty swampy!!!!

Believe me it's been a while since I would complain about the rain and I am ohhhhh so thankful for the rain we have gotten but our lake, Cedar Creek, is 100% full and our ground is waterlogged.  I know other areas need the rain badly but I'm a bit concerned about the severe storms this week in Texas and Oklahoma.

AMEN, SISTER! I am just concerned about driving through it.  I just want to get to the fairgrounds safely. They are talking about a lot of hail, high winds and possible tornadoes.  I really don't want to be on I-35 during that so hopefully we will get it timed right as to when we should leave tomorrow.  And I guess Friday is supposed to be worse.  Y'all need to be on the watch in North Texas tomorrow afternoon according to the weather.  Herbie keep safe and keep me update on my phone.

By no means do we need any more severe weather!  Hopefully the weather can just cooperate and parts of the country that need rain and can get it, and other parts that have had too much can get a break!

But severe weather is no fun, especially when traveling!!!

We will be headed to a NATRC CTR in Stillwater this weekend. Planning to make the trip Thursday and hoping to miss the bad weather on the road at least. They have a tornado siren IN the horse camp...hope they don't have to sound that alarm...the horses in camp may lose their minds!

Safe travels and clean runs everyone!
