| The concept behind them really intrigues me... But do they really work? Negative... Positive experiences? I'm torn between a PHT blanket and a Hidez ?? |

| I saw a horse wearing one last year and it looks like it would be a pain to get them on and off. I know human athletes use them and I'm sure they have some benefits but darn it that would take way too long getting them on and off. heeeeheeee |

| they are easy to take on and off if you have the horse sized right.
They SAY that it allows a horse to cool off easier and will not make them sweat, well they do sweat with the suit on....ringing wet actually....not just ours but others as well.
No improvement at all from using them. The ones that stock up still stocked up. I see ppl they "sponsor" don't use them much either. Sold ours.... know of another one for sale too.
Maybe they work for some people's program but not ours.
I like compression gear on myself when running but only WHILE i'm running. They company is developing one to use during a run. I'm not sure what it looks like but I might be interested in trying it.

If its the same material as the suit it does not get tight enough to help.

Boasts quicker recovery time, ease travel, help in the cooling down process, all that jazz etc....
Didn't do any of these for us :-/ I don't think it compresses enough, my compression gear is extremely tight and this suit I just don't think can get tight enough even though we had it sized properly. Maybe they work for other ppl I dunno...

I used the Equiflex sleeves and they DO have support. Actually, I tried to put one on myself for some support for my healing broken arm, after the cast came off. I had to pull that baby off RIGHT now as it was tight! Don't know why they made you angry? If it was from trying to put them on, a baggie on the foot lets them slide right over the hoof. I didn't have any terrible issues with them and they helped my horse recover and rehab after a tendon injury.
I have seem one Hidez suit and it looked hot! |

Those are a different material and I don't know if they are tight or if they help....I liked the looks of them tho.
For the people talking about the equip sleeve, why did you not like them? It sounds from one poster that they do get tight enough. The hide suit is tight but it doesn't hold a lot of pressure, if that makes sense, to actually be tight to compress. |

Getting it on and off was a NIGHTMARE. I watched the video, I read the pamphlet, I used the plastic bag. I was still cursing and managed to break 3 nails in the process. I left them on overnight and by the next day ALL of the socks had slid down around his pasterns. |

Location: Hill Country of TEXAS!! | I've been using hidez suits for years and never had one sweat in them. I live in the most southern part of Texas in high humidity and use them to haul and only had one sweat under the arm pit a bit. I really actually like the suit and have a 2nd one along with the ice socks. Horse warmed up more loose and not so tight which was the reason I got one to begin with. Pm me if you'd like to know more about them. |

Ours always sweated heavily under the armpit and chest in the trailer and if we put them on to cool out like they recommended they would just get hotter and lather up basically, even after walking out. Our weather here is crazy and humid, we don't have the "dry" heat that out west or Austrailia has and I've assumed thats why ours sweated in them. It could have just been those two horses tho I dunno...

Glad I wasn't the only one... I was made to feel like an idiot when I said I had trouble getting them off. I am a rule/instruction follower. I did exactly what the directions said and thought I was never going to get them back over his hoof. |

Good to know it's not just me! They had such good reviews but I was so close to cutting them off. My horse is patient and compliant and doesn't mind me messing with him but even he was like "mom get these OFF". |

| I've never used them but I've talked with BobbiJo about them extensively. To say Australia is a dryer climate is ridiculous. NSW all up and down the coast is much like Florida. BobbiJo spent a summer in TX testing the suits over here. I was worried because Vegas sweats big time. Recently we treated her for ulcers and the excessive sweating stopped. I would love to try one but right now I'd rather invest in the PHT MagnaCu products since I already know how they work. Go to the Hidez Facebook page and I'm sure BobbiJo would be more than willing to send you the information and answer any questions. |

Well I know where one is for sale that would probably fit Vegas, it was for a mare as well. Might be willing to let it go for a comparable price. |
