Location: Somewhere around here		I've seen a few horses for sale that for the past few years have been pony horses on the track. All of them seem calm, responsive, and trained well but wouldn't break the bank. Anyone had any luck buying one of these working horses?

Location: The Republic of Texas		I have had several thru the years and when I was little my mom gave me her pony horse( we also raced) as a step up not because he knew the pattern but he was awesome, well broke and nothing scared him.

make sure to ride em' first, but if you have one you like, I would say go for it.
