This place is about 30 minutes from our house and we pass by there often. It seems a shame that a nice facility was so under utilized. It has a little bitty house and that is one bad selling point. It is probably 30 minutes from Dallas but still a fairly rural area.
I thought it was a shame too. Is it bad location? Bad management? Not enough land for that type of facility? I know they used to have events there several years back. It seems if a person could get into it and get to drumming up business it would pay for its self at that price. I can't imagine what it cost to build it.
I don't know who managed the property but I don't think they had regular events there. It is right down the road (4 or 5 miles) from Wade Arena which does have regular events.

I know that the ropings they used to have were a very very rough crowd of people and many stopped going because of that.
