Is it genetically not possible that he will remain a bay? I don't see white rings around the eyes that is usually a sign of Graying out.

bay is possible too
My vote is he will stay a bay then... but I'm far from any kind of genetic expert.

I think grey too mostly because it looks like he already has some white down the legs and on his cheeks. They tend to have a completely dark head if they are roan.
