Dr. Kathy Brown was telling me about a brace that someone named Robin makes homemade in Ok that is great for a bowed tendon. you paint it on daily and do not wrap it but she couldn't remember the ladies last name. If anyone knows how I can get some I have a mare with a bad bowed tendon I would like to get some and use on her.

I don't know, sorry, I know the feeling. I have heard great things about runners relief, and you might try asking on facebook...

If you have a bowed tendon, check out the Novobrace! It's wonderful!!! It is an internal brace that is injected into the tendon and within 3 hours it starts forming an internal brace. It allows the fibers to start repairing and rebuilding. We have an 18 year old gelding that bowed his tendon extremely bad. It was 85% torn in two for more than 75% of the length of the tendon. The size has gone down to normal and he is being legged back up as we speak. I highly recommend it!
