We currently have two dogs at our shelter that are going to be euthanized soon if I can't find them homes... we are 1 dog from being full at our shelter with no prospects on adopters at this time. One is a weimaraner/pit mix femle 1.5 yrs and the other is a beautiful German Shepherd 8 yrs who is a nice dog had some guarding issues which he has come SUCH a long way on... ANY ideas on resources to get these dogs adopted or to rescues? I am in Newton, KS....please PM me or post on here....
I currently have them on facebook, craigslist and am making flyers.. have contacted rescues close by in our area as well.

Have you contacted SRL rescue in Minneapolis KS? I know Debbie is constantly taking dogs in and getting them to foster or adoptive homes. She has a website www.savethatdog.weebly.com and a Facebook presence, plus does regular adoption events in Salina at one of the pet stores. I fostered for her a few years ago.

Try this rescue. I know the founder and she loves German Shepherds. They rescue all breeds though whether big, medium, or small. Also they focus on high risk dogs whether it be behavioral, medical, or any other issue. If they can't adopt out they will keep forever. They work really hard and are so devoted to all dogs. Hard to explain but these guys take each case personally. They are dog advocates.
