Location: In the land of peanuts and cotton | How do y'all keep your feed room and tack room prohibited? My feet room is a 10x10 stall that we had concrete poured in. My tack room is a 12x12 storage shed that I get one side of. I have ALOT of stuff. I can't ever find anything when I'm looking for it. So I need some good ideas on how to organize a lot of stuff in small places. |

| Get shelves, and labled tubs, have an organized system and always put what you use back where it belongs when you're done! |

Location: Woodstown, NJ | I have a wall full of bridle hangers for the headstalls, halters, reins. I also put strips of Velcro up one wall and I keep my sport boots on there. |

Location: Lost in the swamps | I made a swinging saddle pad rack with PVC love it! Also put brushes, picks, ect in an organizer, on your wall or the inside of the tack room door, also Velcro for boots, totes for polos and wraps. |

Location: Phoenix | The place where I board has a decent layout.....it's probably 12x12.
The lines in brown are saddle racks, 3 "racks" high. Basically 3 round pieces of wood nailed to the wall--that fashion. In between the saddle racks are bridle hooks (indicated in pink). Along the far left wall is open shelves that go up to the ceiling. We put our medicines and brush boxes here. Blankets are bundled up and stored at the very top. This is where you could have things like polos, no bows, standing wraps, medical supplies, sport boots, bell boots, etc. all packed/boxed up in containers. The lower right corner is a fridge....SUPER handy. Bute, water, carrots, beer...lifesaver.

It's seriously the best I've ever seen. Her barn looks like a showplace. |

Location: MD | shelving units (that are easy to tear down so you can clean them with a hose easy) menards has some good plastic ones that are easy to assemble that wont rust obviously. and then everything else that can stays in a sterilite container. all of them are matching colors and of different sizes to fit different things.
a medium sterilite holds a 50 lb bag easily with a little bit of room on top for a scoop. |

| Throw the junk you are not using into a plastic box with a dust free lid and only have what you are actually using hanging, in a shelf or stored in a plastic container ... you can do plastic boxes for meds, grooming stuff etc all marked on the sides ...
There is always more junk than using stuff all over every where ..
keep using stuff handy and junk in a box .. lol |
