Seems a bit excessive to me :/ normally crossing back that close up is only done once, not twice. The only good thing about it, is there are any flaws, they should be glaring at you.

If you like the horse pay no attention to the pedigree.  If you like the pedigree, make sure you like the horse also.  My infobyte for the day.

That's a lot of line breeding. I'd definitely want to take a look before moving, especially a perlino. What are your goals?

I would usually agree with Whiteboy 100%, but in this instance I disagree. Too much and too close especially with that particular sire. It would also help, if she had been started or had 30+ days. I would pass. Lot more options, with better breeding, in the same price range. JMO

WOW! The inbreeding going on is insane. I like mine to be a little more diversed so I would personally pass.

I would definitely talk to someone that has more knowledge in Linebreeding. I'm not 100% sure what Zan Parr Bar passes down the most, as far as conformational issues, health, etc, so you may talk to someone that knows more about it and him. The thing with linebreeding is it brings out ailments in offspring that that particular line carries, doesn't cause them but displays them out in the offspring.

I like the diversity in the second better than the fence post family tree of the first. A family tree needs to branch. The linebreeding may work, but that crosses over into inbreeding for me.

I do agree with Flying, talk to someone who knows more about linebreeding than I do.. Lol
I have seen it work well for others, but they also had a different sire. Not saying anything is wrong with Zan Bar, but he isn't a sire a would take the chance on. Find out what some flaws are that show in the offspring and look at some colts who have been linebred using Zan Bar.
You shouldn't tuck your tail and run, just do a little research.

If someone told me that she was conformationally correct, no health issues and sane.... I could only imagine the athlete she could be. Zan Parr Bar was an amazing athlete and he sired some great and talented horses too!

I'm pretty sure he has sired more AQHA champions than any other horse even though died at age 13.

Do you by chance have pics of both? I'd love to see them.

Too much line breeding going on but i'm curious what the Perlino looks like.
Also curious what your Bay Roan looks like.

If she is comformationally correct, I would get her for a broodmare then outcross her on racing lines ( maybe a more line bred first down dash). Hybrid vigor should come out of that sort of cross.

I wasn't wanting too, I posted her on a roan group showing her off/asking if she would stay that roan...and a lady messaged me interested in her asking if I would be interested in trading her for the mare I posted.
