| This rainy weather of course has me thinking about running barrels 
What are some (registered/unregistered) names of mares that have ran at the NFR.
I can only think of a few for some reason my mind is blank.

My guess is either dead, still racing, or retired. I doubt any of them actually are foaling their own babies. They are all worth WAY too much to risk them dying having a baby. |

My friend owns the mare Boleta Jet - she is still sound, but has not been ridden in years and has carried several of her own babies. She is currently at the breeding farm right now. |

And Pure Victory Dash - "Twisted Sister" foaled out a baby by Slick by Design a few weeks ago. She carried, not a recipeint. |

Any speculation on why they let her carry?
Has she been injured? Did they think letting her carry might calm her down a bit? I remember her being quite a handful the year she was at the NFR. |

I'm not sure Taylor ever really said anything about it - I'll have to ask her. I figured she wanted to give her some time off and since she's already a producer, nice to get some more out of her. |
