Thanks to Rachel I am a huge fan of First Timber. I hopefully will have one next year. I too was not a fan of CSF First Timber has not been readily available to the barrel horse industry. He was injured at the track with very limited outs. He is very impressive and his short career is very impressive. To see him in person takes him to a whole other level. I am anxious to see what he starts producing now he is in Oklahoma. I know the race horse people are really liking him. Sorry didn't mean to highjack this post... but honestly not a fan of csf after seeing in person |

| CS FLASHLIGHT has the frame of MARTHAS SIX MOONS with the added muscling and quick gathers and speed of ROYAL QUICK DASH ... once you see CSF in action there is nothing not to like ..
CSF and ASOF were bred to do multiple events from successful race track careers, steer roping, steer wrestling, barrels and whatever else you have in mind!! ALSO ..>> Let the 2nd video play automatically and get your eyes full of both CSF and ASOF ..
https://youtu.be/Z3yUse4BVJ0
I have confidence in the Fulton Ranch breeding program .. so monkey see ... monkey do ... I bred two mares to their junior sire A DASH TA STREAK and one of the mares is a daughter of ROYAL QUICK DASH to combine the genes of their two senior sires into one baby with the added power of a DTF dam that ran out over $53k running barrels!!! ... I am very pleased at the awesome colt she has produced ...
STREAKIN FLASHTAFAME looks like he may be a dark bay roan or could turn gray .. either is super fine with me when you look at this fine colt at 19 days old ...
Stallion shopping is kinda like going man shopping at the local honky tonk ... the pretty boys always catches the eye ... lol
So.. you can see the bloodlines in my 2015 colt take a look .... count 1-2-3 generations for AQHA papers and see if you wouldn't like to see all this fire power all stacked into one baby!!
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/streakin+flashtafame
if you are not afraid of speed or soundness ... I would sure take a 2nd LOOK!!
Meet ..... TOOTER ... lol

To be fair, that may have had something to do with his training and how he was handled....to say that a horse has nothing for brains is harsh, and unfair. It just bugs me when folks say certain horses or bloodlines are dumb, etc... Some of these "brainless" horses need riders that can and are able to develop them....some horses just don't fit every rider.... |

I didn't take it she was bashing all of them. She clearly stated she had one, and said what he was like. It's up to the reader to take it for what it is worth :), |

I understand that she was not bashing all of them...but to say the horse she rode was all run and no brains, tells me that there is a reason for that kind of behavior and my guess, is that a human being in that horse's history is responsible for the horse being that way, not it's bloodlines. |

I was not bashing the bloodlines at all, it was my personal experience with them. Would I seek another one out, probably not but if the right one came along I would sure give it a chance. And I promise you this horse had two very capable top notch trainers riding and training him, he was handled and vetted and chiroed and very well cared for he was fine on the ground and most days undersaddle. It was just him, he wanted to just run and on the barrels thats all he would do, he was never on the track and his bottom side of his papers had nothing on the papers so it's harder for me not to say that it was more so coming from CSF. |

Flashy Buttons or something like that, right? He was in the Colt Class at my college. Nice little horse and the girl training him did a fantastic job - lots of speed and very willing! Would definitely make an awesome kids horse. |

Location: Smack in the middle of WA! | Absolutely love my CS Flashlight colt! One of the nicest and easy to handle colt I've had in a long time. He's only a year so no idea what he will be like to ride but I am excited for next year. My broodmare is cowbred so hoping to get a little brains with all the run! I would breed to him again in a heartbeat! |
