I just thought I would share for anyone experiencing this.

I bought a weanling in late December (6mo old) and she was in very bad condition. It was one of those situations where she was NOT worth the asking price but I couldn't leave her. Anyways, big hay/ wormy belly, thin, sad neck and hindquarters. Almost snow shoe feet. I got her home and continued her free choice grass hay and slowly switched her from the all stock 10% she was eating to blue bonnet intensify growth. About a month later I noticed her pasterns getting boxy. Then a few weeks later, soreness in them. I took her to the vet and vet said physitis which is the fancy name for inflamation of the growth plates causing the boxy look. Vet said my feeding program was good but I was not allowed to give her any excess protein. Anyways, I found Rejuvinaide by Progressive Nutrition. She has been on it 7 weeks now and all but 1 pastern is normal. No more soreness. I am extremely happy with it.

Rejuvinaide has been my go to product for epiphysitis and also helping stifle growth plates to close. It's a great product that's reasonably priced.
