Has anyone overnighted at the West Jordan Events Center without calling ahead? We overnighted there last year and it is very nice with a gazzillion stalls. I called to overnight this year and was told I couln't because they were just coming off the Paint show (they had just come off it last year as well). So I was just wondering if we just dropped in if maybe they would let us stall. Paying is not a problem. The office secretary did not seem to want to be bothered.
Or maybe suggestions of other public facilities (fairgrounds) south of Salt Lake that are very close to the interstate? Just don't want to have to fight traffic when leaving in the morning so that is why I want to be south a little bit rather than on the north end.

I live in Beaver, an hour north of Cedar City, and have some empty uncovered stalls if you came this far. We also have some stalls that rent for $1 per night accross the street at the race track. Nephi is about an hour south of South Jordan they have their local arena that has some pens you can use.

Okay so Spanish Fork is the place...it will get you out of all the traffic but not much further down. http://www.spanishfork.org/dept/parkrec/fairgrounds/ it is $15 for the first night. Nice facility. Contact numbers on on the link.

Spanish Fork . Take Spanish fork exit turn left into town keep going aprox 1/2 mile you will see (edge of town)chain link fence on left side 2 nd gate should be open most water works along the barns and inside. If you can't get stalls and no one shows up go around to the back of the buildings. If your not satisfied leave there make a left turn a little over a block take a right maybe a mile is (wahoo)Salem arena on the left some gated pens to the back of the arena. No one goes there except for club shows.

Nephi arena has some great pens. We stay there all the time!! We use the catch pens that are pretty big. It gives the horses some room to move around while staying the night.

Any plug ins at Nephi for trailer?
I know they have plug ins, but not sure if they are always on. I will do some checking. When are you coming?
