We have a mare who the gnats irritate horrendously. If we dont use a feed thru or a spot on repellent, she'll rub her tail raw and bald. We've used Bug Off with success, have had moderate results but have to use more often than they say with the liquid pour ons. I now sprinkle garlic powder on her grain and pour 1 gallon of apple cider vinegar in her water trough each week and that has worked the last couple of years.

One of mine is really allergic. He gets hives all over so he's getting a spot treatment, fly mask/sheet, the best fly spray I can find, and the feed through is the final thing I need.
