What is the best thing to give a horse to keep them on their feed while on the road? Eats good at home but when you go somewhere never cleans up all the feed and just picks at it.. Doesn't have ulcers..

I would hit him with an ulcer prevent a few days before the event and while you are away. I know you said he doesn't have ulcers, but picking at feed is a pretty big symptom. He may get a belly ache with all the travel excitement. Time on the road will help that also.

I agree keeping them on a schedule as the same as at home and water in front of them as much as possible, that can make a difference on how well they eat. I've never had horses who didn't clean up every ounce of food while on the road....
