Psalm 84:8 O Lord God, hear my prayer; Give ear, O God, of Jacob! Oh God, behold our shield, and look upon the face of Your anointed.
For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of God then dwell in the tents of wickedness.
For the Lord God is sun, and shield, The Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will,He withhold from Those who walk up rightly.
So why do we need to worship? We worship because our heart is right. We realize strength for life is not our own and we must truly rely on God's strength. We worship because of God's strength. We worship because if God's faithfulness. We all journey through the valley , the valley of weeping. We endure hardships, trials, losses, and temptations, yet God proves His faithfulness by giving us strength to endure. We worship because He allows us to Steve Him, and we are overcome by the fact that our great God would allow us to serve Him. We proclaim that one day of fellowship is a thousand times better than anything else. Finally, we worship because of His provision and protection. For The Lord God is sun and shield. God provides restoration and protection in the journey of life.
Are your weary And weak? Are you overwhelmed by life? Then worship Him and receive the power to overcome things that at weighting you down.
For it is with God all things are possible .
