If you live in an area that has been getting heavy constant rains for the past
month ++ with some afternoons with 80+ temps and hot sun ...

Check your babies with winter hair for signs of sun scald ... starts off looking like
a bad case of dandruff and then small chunks of hair disappearing which turns
into larger chunks and bald spots ...

Get you a good quality iodine shampoo and start you an antifungal program ..
and don't forget to rinse after shampooing ... and keep in out of the rain
as much as possible ... 3-4 days of daily shampoo/rinses and maybe it will
stop raining and things will return to normal .. even then keep an eye on them ..

I am treating mine as a preventive after seeing several of my friends babies
with patchy hair ...
