WE ARE PREPARED FOR LAKE TEXOMA TO OVERFLOW OVER IT'S SPILLWAY TONIGHT ... due to a month of heavy rain .. the lake has risen from a low of 609 ft to overflow at 640 ft .... normal is 617 ft .
We have camping area reserved for a Memorial Day picnic and it is under 20 ft of water .... we are going anyway!!

I'm an hour south of Texoma and we are supposed to go camping at Platter Flatts week of 6/8 and taking the horses - it is currently underwater according to the website. Maybe it will subside witihin the next two weeks? Have been looking forward to this camping trip since the beginning of the year! :(

I crossed the Red River last night on I 35. I have never in my 43 years of life seen it that high! If you are praying for rain in OK or Tx you need to stop! or include your zip code. We are drowning in Piedmont America!
