| I am going to be buying a new bumper pull in June or July. What make do you prefer and why? I really want a ramp (I know many don't like them but I do). I'm looking for a quality built trailer - I prefer platinum so far but I'd like to go just a little less expensive if I can. |

| Hart or 4Star. Are you wanting slant or straight? I prefer straight load for a two horse bumper pull but everyone is different |

Location: Oklahoma | 4-Star.... look at their new easy lift ramp option... it's amazing!!!!! Makes the ramp so light and easy to lift!
ETA... 4 star makes 2 models. The runabout and the deluxe.

Slant. And I want a three but we will probably end up with a two. Did you all order yours or get it off the lot? |

Location: PNW | I have a really nice, BIG two horse straight load. It is extra wide, long, and tall because the original owner ordered it for a driving pair of percherons. There are escape doors on both sides and I can walk straight through in front of the horses to feed, water, whatever. There's also a huge dressing room. I LOVE this trailer. And it's all aluminum and pulls like a dream. |

Location: Indiana | Where are you from? We have this Platinum in on consignment and it's not been used much at all, it's in great condition. Could have a ramp added for you. http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/trailerdetail.asp?ID=832481 |

Location: Beggs, OK | I love Elites, but we are pulling a 3 horse slant bumper pull Sooner and it's a cool trailer. I'm not sure what year it is, but it's at least ten years old and in amazing shape. The only thing I would change about it is it has the mirrored nose and I don't like the way traffic flashes by in my rearview mirror. |

I also have a 3-horse slant "Riata big-horse Sooner bumper pull with front tack and back tack -- it's a 2000 model. I bought it new and love it -- a great, tight, well-made trailer at that point in time. It has been kept in a shed looks practically new... |

Location: Willows, CA | My Daughters were a 4Star dealer until several years ago. Just about every brand went through the lot. 4Star, Platinum, Hart and Elite would be my choice. Those four all have something to favor over the others, but they are all truly premium made trailers. The nice thing about these premium trailers is that you don't have to buy new to get the quality. One of these that is several years old can be as good in the long run as a new one. Take your budget and buy premium used rather than mid grade new. In a few years you will be happy that you did.

Location: South of Canada and North of Mexico | I have a Featherlite 7'6 tall and the stalls are much longer than they would have been in a slant. I LOVE this trailer, love the walk through, only down fall I see is the windows right at the mangers where I put hay, I need hooks installed so I can hang a hay bag or net. My GF bought a new Logan and the doors and windows close sooooo easily, its VERY nice and if I could afford it Id buy one next.

My gelding wears an 81 blanket and has plently of room in here. |

I'm in CA. Do your daughters still have the dealership? I'm close to JH Sanders but all I see on their online inventory is Trails West. |

There are quite a few people around here who have big LQ trailers and that have bought Platinum bumper pulls to haul to local shows. |
