I currently use a Tod Slone 3/4'' and really like it. I recently had someone tell me they liked the way their CSI rode. What is your favorite and why?
Me personally, I like the ones with the cut out above the withers, my horse seems to not get as sore in the withers with it. My only issue with my Tod Slone is I have to pull it up in the front to keep it off her withers all the time, my friend said her CSI pad doesn't need that cause it is actually raised in the front.

I have a 3/4" Tod Slone, a 1/2" 5 star, and CSI with 1/2" liner and I love them all! My horse doesn't have much withers so the cutout doesn't really affect him. The 5 star is the softest by far, the Tod Slone is a good/tough long lasting pad, and the CSI has the plate to disperse pressure evenly so that's a plus. I think you can't go wrong with either. Just depends if your horse is having saddle or pad fitting issues. It might be worth a try to test out the CSI.
