Location: NC | Those that use the PHT quick wraps: Do you use them during the summer? If so, when? How long do you leave them on?
I have an older style of quick wraps. They don't have the nylon outer coating. More like tendon wraps with velcro attached. Made of a cotton material. Just curious how others use them. |

Location: In the Hills of Texas | When I use them I would leave them on overnight and I would use them even when it would be 100 degrees and I would use my PHT blanket also. There were times when it was real hot and the flies were bad, I would use it like a fly sheet. |

Both it seems like. They're the old gray style ones. With the black velcro. Got a heck of a deal on them that I couldn't pass up!

Oh. Ok. I found that old picture on a webpage with old PHT products that were on close out . They were called quick wraps on there. Along with the older white sheet, with or without the stifle straps. I thought they were tendon wraps with added velcro too until I googled and found the photo of them attached to a PHT website. |

| I have the tendon wraps and have used them in the summer heat on a mare that cut her leg really badly. They were ok, I don't remember any heat build up or sweating underneath them. I wrapped both fronts because of the severity of the cut. I would absolutely use them in the summer again. |

This was about 15 years ago.. The material did not hold up to velcro use.

Are the magnets still good after that long? I had no idea they were THAT old. |

Location: Here | If this was in my care and use yes. But I have no way of knowing what the previous users have done with it. For example Stuck it to a metal stall front for 10 year (Magnets share properties with metal) Had it near a welder or mri machine

I bought a tester that also reads polarity. The wraps read just as well as my newer magnetic products. These things have stood the test of time for sure. |
