| Hey everyone! After 2 long years of trying everything from new saddles, several vets, chiropractors, water therapy, equine dentist, etc I found my horse has a finally found a bit he will run in! Its called at WTP Winning Tongue Plate Bit. I has having issues where he would run to the first and 50/50 time slam on brakes and rear up. It scared me because he would do it even when I wouldn't touch the reins at ALL. He would dance in the holding pen, chomp on the bit, foam under the chin, head shake, etc even just standing beside him and not riding.
The first day I used it, he flexed without complaint!! I was floored! I've been working him on the pattern and it has been AMAZING hands down! Im in love and have ordered another one for my other horse! LOVE IT!!!! |

| I got the universal western in the Normal Plate in a 5.5 the lady I talked to suggested I go up half a size so the horse has a chance to react hence for gag action I guess. I just ordered the 3-ring in the extended plate to try that one. Not sure what it is but I'm having pretty good luck with it. I felt for a while I was kicking a head horse trying to fix our problems. Ride him and about give up because it seemed like everytime I touched the bridle he over reacted and then get on my other horse and cruise an awesome pattern. Talk about whiplash on the drive home |

Had you ever tried a hackamore on him? |

| I tried a hackamore and bozo sidepull. He still freaked about those and had me banging my head against the wall. He wont ride in a curb chain, it has to be a rope curb or he will do a backflip at the first barrel. Nearly killed me he flipped over so bad one time. He is great but once in a while he loses it. |

Location: MS | I have a horse I would love to try one on before I buy because that is a lot for a bit she may not like. They are a very cool concept though! Maybe I can find the western type used. |

I also have one that I'd like to try it on before I buy...but I see that Dover Saddlery has them and in their warranty it says (or did when I looked on the website) lifetime warranty. So maybe I will try one. Very soft mouthed horse that will get her tongue over anything except a CJ 3 piece medium port lifter and then freak out. I have a light hand and have tried ring snaffle, snaffle & caveson, hackamore, side pull, chain mouth, and a snaffle w/ a rubber tongue depressor. Also had a friend from the track show me houw to tie her tongue down all with poor results. Got her tongue over the ring snaffle and chain mouth and then freaked out, flipped over with the snaffle & caveson and the tied tongue, and doesn't like the hackamore or side pull. So we are sticking with the CJ medium port. And yes, I have had her teeth looked at, her tongue examined, checked to see if she had TJ...all were fine. :/ |

| I love how much he has really opened up in his stride and really wraps around a barrel like Lindsay Sears horse Martha! Really wish they would let you "rent" a bit to try though. It is a lot of money but it was this last shot or pasture pet. Seems to be working really great. Was in tears when he flexed like an old pro in the arena this morning!!! Aaahhhh |

| Trying it on a new horse and I admit it took several days before it clicked with her. Now she is working great and has stopped chomping on the bit the whole ride. |
