Yup! My good horse has one. Lower inside of LH leg. We injected the joint couple times then finally we decided to leave him sore, with heat and inflammation in there and it would fuse. Glad we did! I didn't get to run at some big races over winter BUT it's finally OVER. Lol. I used a little herbal bute but vet said no pain meds or anti inflammatories so it would fuse faster.

It depends on the reason as to why there is a Bog...just going down this road with my young mare. Xrays revealed she had a small OCD lesion in her left hock, and a abnormality in her right hock...it is probably due to a rapid growth spurt, or a injury or overdoing it when she was a tiny baby...My mare just turned 5, and is not lame, just a small swelling on the front of her left hock... Our options were injections, or the recommended route of arthoscopic surgery, which we decided to go with...things are looking good with her, and should be able to start riding in 10 weeks.
