I have been looking at a few 2-3 yr olds for sale. Found a horse that has streaking la jola, dash for cash, streakin six and the signature. Im wondering if this is too much run and if shes going to be super hot. I am used to mostly cow bred. Whats your opinion on any of those bloodlines or crosses.
Thanks!

Looks like a good combo. Not all run horses are hot.

Some of the most user friendly names in race breds.  Wouldn't worry me a bit.

My go to mares are these... Both types of breeding people say aren't user friendly but they are both great. I always forget the 3 year (second one) old is just that only 3.... she acts like a horse 4 times her age. Her mom and dad are both amazing lifers on the farm too.

It's the Peppy San Badger x Doc Bar, I swear by it! My friend has a 3yo I broke to saddle and put a lot of ground manners on last year and he was just born broke. She puts all her new riders on him now. He acts like a 15 year old dead head. She likes him so much, she put an offer on his full sister the day she hit the ground. haha They are very user friendly.

Not too much run, but without seeing the pedigree, it is hard to say anything.

I generally look at the first two generations, occasionally look at the third but don't put much stock into it

I believe in loading as many successful currently well known speed lines with proven barrel pen agility as possible to set the barrel conformation, characteristics and plenty of speed where the horse only needs to run at 3/4 speed to win the event.

Here is "TOOTER" aka Streakin Flashtafame as a prime example of my breeding program ... not sure how long he will stay a roan like his daddy or turn gray like his
mama ... lol .. he is 19 days old in this photo ..

Once TOOTER gets trained and seasoned .... everyone will have to step it up in order to compete with him!!
