Okay so I have been having pain in my lower stomach (under belly button) for the past couple weeks . It's a dull sometimes sharp pain that is worse when I have to pee or after I pee. It hurts during the day when I'm doing activities and I've noticed I have had to pee a lot more , ( it's been hot and I've been drinking alot more but still) any ideas?? No fever no throwing up. Thanks in advance!

kind of off topic, but yall should be used to it... I'm always slightly off topic.Anyway... when I was pregnant I ended up in the hospital getting fluids because I was dehydrated. I can't remember the symptoms that made me go, but while I was there they said my "gallbladder was acting up". Fast forward about 3 months, already had the baby and forgot all about the gallbladder comment. I woke up in the middle of the night with horrible chest and back pains. From the bottom of my ribcage up to about my collar bone. These episodes got more frequent and more severe. I went to the er and got a Russian doctor that I did not like from a previous experience with my son. They checked my heart, said I was all good and she pretty much said nothing was wrong with me. I told her about what they told me while I was pregnant. She pretty much told me if I wanted to waste a bunch of money she would write me a script for a cat scan or ultrasound..or whatever it is they do. She said it was heartburn. So she had me feeling so dumb I never went further with it. 1 week later after crying on my bed for 45 minutes trying to breath I finally went back to the er (my husband was about 5 seconds away from calling an ambulance)... a different er so I wouldn't get her again. 3 days later my gallbladder was removed. Doc said multiple stones and lots of scarring from gallbladder attacks.Moral of the story. Sometimes your symptoms may not be the textbook, and sometimes doctors don't know quite as much as they think they do. If you think something is wrong get seen by a doctor, if you don't think they helped you... see another one.

If the infection is up in your kidneys it will make your back hurt, not sure about your chest.  Do you have an urgent care clinic you could go to tomorrow? They are cheaper than the ER and if it is a kidney infection you will really feel like crap by Monday.

A girl I work with has had to have 2 surgeries this year for large kidney stones lodged in the kidney, and one of her ureters being "deflated" to the point that they had to put a stint in both times.  Her symptoms sound similar to yours.  Have you dont he pee test to check for blood in your urine?

I'm glad you're going to the doctor because there are some more serious conditions it could be caused from but I think UTI is probably more realistic. Prayers everything goes well!

I was going to say kidney stones or gallbladder.  I have had kidney stones twice and they both felt 100% different.  My grandma had her gallbladder removed last year and it sounds similar.

My guess bladder infection, if it has been going on for awhile, it could have progressed to sepsis.

Appendix

Gallbladder

Ectopic pregnancy

All can be serious conditions, and should be ruled out sooner then later

UTI, Kidney, Gallbladder or Appendix issues. Or it could be something as simple as indigestion, gas or constipation. If you can't wait until Monday for your appointment go to the ER. If you spike a fever unexpectedly then go to ER regardless of your appointment.

Sometimes a doc can have a pretty good idea what's going on just from the description of symptoms, but this isn't one of those times. The first thing I'd want to rule out is a urinary tract infection. It could be that your chest pain is something unrelated. You need to see someone who will sit down and take a good history, examine you, then decide what, if any, tests need to be done. I can think of dozens of possibilities, but that's useless. Let us know what your doc comes up with.
