I have a lot of split reins and I don't use split reins so has anyone used them to make an over and under? I thought it might be a good craft.

That's a good idea I think!  We've made roping reins out of the singles before that were long enough.  You just add a buckle or snap to the other end.

That is all I ever used for an over and under. A split rein that I wrapped under my cantle and just used the clip to clip it back to itself. Sometimes I would wrap it twice to shorten it some.

I have some split reins that I think I am thinking about making in to barrel reins.  All I will have to do is punch some more holes and add conway buckles and snaps.  I think it would be fun to make the other rein in to an over and under... Great Idea!
