I'm wanting to get my trailer cleaned up tomorrow. But, how do you all clean the bare, silver aluminum? The painted aluminum looks great! But there's stains from bird droppings and some cloudiness on the silver aluminum. What do you guys use that's simple and gets the job done?

Take it to the truck wash tell them to not put the brightner on the paint. It will drive away looking new.

The truck wash. They acidize it. Elite recommends that theirs be acidize once a year. Truck wash will just wash it too.k

If you don't have a truck wash in your area, you can also buy the NAPA brand aluminum wash. That stuff works really good too! I've mixed it up in a pesticide applicator from Tractor Supply, and just sprayed on, ran a brush over it lightly, and then spray off with water. If your trailer is really stained up and heavily oxidized (like mine is right now from the 36+ inches of rain we've had this spring), the truck wash really is your best bet.

That is a great idea! But, is it safe to use on the painted aluminum? Or do I need to be careful not to get it on there?

I use Streakmaster, probably the same as the NAPA wash.  It says don't get it on the painted part.  It works great!
