Location: NC | Has anyone had any experience with arachnoid cysts?
I had an MRI done last week as requested by my neurologist as a routine deal for my migraines and it showed a 'CSF intensity posterior fossa collection with mild mass effect on the adjacent posterior fossa structures, consistent with an arachnoid cyst'.
This was done through the VA clinic so I have a consult in to the neurosurgeons at the main hospital in Durham. Follow up with my neuro is next week so I'm sure he will update me then. Just curious if anyone else has any experience with these things. Neuro didn't seem too alarmed by it. I'm not terribly worried. Just wondering if this is the cause of the migraines and sickness I've has since I was little. |
