I've probably missed the answer somewhere else, but I researching. I need to get a general idea of rates to haul from Ca to the Midwest and any additional fees to be aware of. Thanks for any help!!

 Your question is too broad. CA is a big state and "midwest" covers a lot of states. I have paid anywhere from 500-1200 to haul a horse from Riversidea, CA area to Weatherford /Ft Worth or OKC. Depends on if I used a hauler or a got on with someone making a personal trip.

 Im a bit ignorant to hiring a transport company. Thanks for giving me a better idea if the details needed!!  I'll say central CA to TN. I was guessing he high end of what you said. Do they charge by the mileage? And I'd assume the extra services offered will cost more :) Thanks for your help!!

Most haulers charge by mile so our quotes are all done from zip code to zip code. I've seen prices ranging from $0.89-$4/loaded mile.
