Location: Mims, FL | I know this is not a brand that can be registered as a ranch brand so trying to find info on a horse I purchased has been difficult. Horse is most likely from kentucky, most likely went through an auction there. The brand is on his left shoulder. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Location: Mims, FL | I think you may have found it! I cant find any pictures of the brand for that ranch online anywhere though. You think it's pretty darn close?? Do you know anything about that ranch? I can not find a whole lot online other than they have a couple studs but there is no pictures or anything. I did find a phone number. Fingers crossed its the same brand and these people can at least tell me something about this horse. He is a feed lot horse that I bought and drove all the way to Texas to get and he's in pretty sad shape but he has the manners of a horse that someone spent a good deal of time with at some point in his life. He's a 7yr old palomino gelding but other than that that's all I know about him. |

Can't hurt to call. They used to stand a cremello type stud. Pretty popular around here for barrels etc. I can't find a website, I do know they sell a lot of horses.

Location: Mims, FL | Found it, you are right, it is pretty darn close the only difference is the location and the brand on my horse is angled a bit. I was trying to blow up the picture of the other horse, does it look there is a little dot in the middle to look like an eye? I am going to call in a few hours on my lunch break. |

Location: Too Far North | it is angled differently, I think the dot is her natural coloring, she has more throughout her coat. It is slightly different tho

Bambi Egle (from MN) had Popeye. He was black from the rabbit choker ranch. There was also a black rope horse from there too. |

Location: Buffalo, TX | My friends, Marilyn and Chuck Jones from Shawnee, OK have this brand. Maybe Marilyn will see this and respond. I will text her and tell her to look at it. They breed a lot of horses, mainly Matts King in the pedigree. |

Location: Oklahoma | David and Rondia Chapman from Kiowa, OK also have a Playboy bunny on the left shoulder as their brand. Cierra Chapman that just won Josey Junior World is their daughter. A lot of their horses are palomino.

Location: Mims, FL | Thanks for your help! It's truly appreciated. I am getting discouraged now since there are several people that use that brand. I have been trying to call the guy at Rabbit Choker and it just rings, so no luck there yet and his email just comes back as undeliverable. |

| The brand book for Ky is online. I've never seen that brand, but I've never looked for it either. It's not an insurmountable task to browse our brand book. It's only about 900 or so brands total. |

Location: On My Horse! | Many moons ago, well about 12 years ago, when I went to Youth World I saw a horse with a small Play Boy bunny on his left cheek. Super cute little horse. Unknown his breeding or who owned him. I was stalled by him. Sorry, I'm no help. Just wanted to share lol.

| There was a guy from GA or SC that I saw set up at a barrel race several years that did freeze branding. That playboy bunny was one of the brands he had available. He said it got used a lot when he set up at trail rides and places there was younger guys. It might not have much or any affiliation with any one person or farm/ranch. Good luck with your search though. |

Location: Mims, FL | Just bumping this up one last time. I've spent hours trying to find out anything about him. Since I posted this I've got on him bareback, he took a bit easily and he moves off your leg like a pro so someone spent some time on him at some point in his life. Fingers crossed someone recognizes his brand!! Thanks everyone!! |

Location: Mims, FL | Thanks guys! The brand on the left hip is most likely Rabbit Catcher Ranch, the ears are a bit longer. I spoke w/ him last week and he was very sweet but said he had never branded any horse on it's shoulder. We are thinking this was most likely just something someone did for marking purposes or for fun because I cant find much out there w/ this brand on the shoulder. :(
It has been fun getting to know him without his history, since everyday we figure out something new but it would be nice to know if he's going to attempt to kill me once he gets to feeling better lol.
