Looking into purchasing a stock/combo LQ trailer. We've looked at Merhow and Exiss, seen some Logan Coaches online. Opinions and experiences with any of these?? Thanks.

I would personally see if you can find a used one in a better brand. Merhow, Exiss, etc are entry level trailers that a lot of people have problems with. I would look at Platinum, Elite, 4-Star, C&C

I purchased a stock/combo LQ trailer back in January and I love it. It's a Sooner with an 8' LQ, mid tack, 4 horse.  I got mine with slants instead of the center cut gate.  Only think i'm not crazy about is that it's a bit higher off the ground than a traditional horse trailer, so it's a big step in and out for my horses.  If I had it to do over i'd have added a ramp, as my old trailer had a ramp and my horses were used to it.

They are rare, but if you can find (or order) a sliding center gate, it is the most convenient stock trailer ever. We had a LQ stock combo with a 15'x 8' horse compartment where you could slide the cut gate anywhere in the horse compartment. It was nice to be able to have an extra stall where needed to haul equipment in the front horses in the back, or separate horses where they needed to be, could also haul cattle in the front and horses behind. It was so handy.
