We went to the wrapn3 this weekend and my horses and I had a rough time. Bunny stayed home because she got her stifles done and the way she acted at the last race I took her to I wanted her to have a weekend to relax. Lucy and Sunny worked good on Saturday and both ran 15.9s with some mistakes so I was optimistic Sunday would be good for both of them. Not!! Sunny tried his heart out but he didn't handle the ground great, I think it got too deep for him and we felt stuck. Lucy was determined to hit the third and there was nothing I could do to get her off it. It was just lovely, one of those OMG DID YOU SEE THAT kind of hit barrels. I'm surprised we didn't launch it out of the arena.

You have my sympathies! However, you seem to not have too many of those so I am sure the next time you enter you'll do great! By the way you gave another girl some advice about how not to be left behind leaving a barrel. I tried your suggestion and it really helped me, so a big Thank You! I thanked several people here, but I forgot to include you.

I agree, Sunny was trying to work but he was getting strung out in that dirt around the barrels and having a hard time keeping under himself. Those kind of days are few and far between for you and Kallyn, on to the next! Megan and I are going to try to make it Caldwell in August.

I have launched one out of the arena before..literally. First run back on my old bay mare after she degloved her right front from the elbow to the coronet band and opened up the fetlock joint 2.5 months before. She just wanted to get in and work so hard at the second...thankfully it was a playday type set up. plastic barrels. She hit that sucker so hard it ended up in the return alley for the roping calves, LOL!!!
