Location: CA | I'm have a friend who is sponsored by flair, and swears by cleaning their face with a paper towel before applying. She swears by one brand i think its viva. It needs to be a thicker paper towel. You brush the hair up and down to clean it and then stick the strip on. She put one on my horse last august that way and it stayed on for two days in 100+ heat and two runs. |

Good point, I use alcohol on my paper towel as well. |

Good to know - I always clean the heck out of it, but the minute he starts to sweat it peels off |

Location: South Central Florida | We had no success and gave up. I used alcohol but it didn't seem to help. End of every run, one side was completely off. I was told on here to try the black ones, and to maybe shave the hair off her face. But this mare has been head shy all her life, and then spend 10 weeks with a levage in her eye and another month of treatments....I'm not going near her face with anything sharpe! |
