So last night after riding my gelding for the first time since he had been laid off due to being lame and having his shoes and pads changed I had taken him out after I rode and trotted him in a tight circle on the end of the lead line to double check him again. He looked good. I undid his halter and started walking toward the gate which I realized was slightly open still and sure enough Tucker spotted it too and decided to make a break for it. I took the end of my lead rope and swung it at his shoulder to get him turned away from it, he squealed and kicked out catching me in the shoulder. Thankfully I saw it coming and was able to turn slightly so didn't get a full blow or wouldn't be typing this with both hands. I took some Aleve and decided I better get CC ridden and everyone fed before the arm swelled up so big I couldnt' use it at all, as it was I couldn't lift my elbow above my shoulder and had a baseball size knot on it. I reached in my trailer and grabbed the Lameaway and sprayed it on, stung a little due to the scratch but seriously by the time I got to CC's gate I could lift my arm and the throbbing in it had subsided to a dull ache. The product is supposed to help block the pain transmitters or something like that...and boy oh boy does it!!! Got CC saddled and bridled, no mean feat as she is 15.1 and a squirrel, got her ridden and everyone fed, sprayed another batch on the shoulder and headed in for a shower. This morning no swelling and no bruising at all though it hurts to touch it but have full range of motion and that doesnt' hurt at all. Sprayed a little more on this AM just for back up, LOL!!!

I have use my Lameaway on myself several times!  My shoulders will get really tense and get knots in them...Lameaway seems to help relieve the pain and help my muscles relax.

My mare loves the stuff, too! :

My husband had some soreness in his forearms. I told him I could fix him right up and went to my bathroom and grabbed my Lame Away. He asked me, "that's not horse stuff is it?" And I told him no...sprayed his arms, rubbed it in and he felt better within minutes. When I told him it was horse stuff he said, "I thought it probably was except you got it from your bathroom not the barn, but whatever, it totally works!" Haha :-) I just keep a bottle in my bathroom to spray on my back when it gets tight :-) Great stuff!!

I bought mine at one of the larger races but I believe they have a website also...
Don't let the "cannabis" part of it dissuade you...

They also have a facebook page. I bought the spray originally for my back also. It would tighten up to the point it made it difficult for me to sit properly in the turns on a competitive run. Saw this at a race, sprayed it on my back and a few minutes later I was able to band and touch my toes which I have not been able to do since I stress fractured a few vertebrae about 7 years ago and my legs didn't feel like they went numb in the run, I knew what my feet were doing for the first time in that long also!!!

Huh, cause I was looking on their horse stuff and it said "shop now" so I clicked it and a big warning came up asking for my pot card #. Didn't seem right lol "yes, doctor I need a medical Marijuana card. It's not for me, it's for my horse. He's got issues man."

I am terrible with nerves even though I am only doing exhibitions at this time! But, I have been using Peace and Calming essential oil blend by Young Living and also the blend called Believe. I LOVE these 2 blends. I acutally THINK during my time in the arena and no more sick feeling or heart pounding. The mare I am on can get a little nervous and on the muscle, but she is putting up with me so well. I put the P and C on my forehead and on the toe of my boots. The Believe I rub on my pulse points on my wrists and in the middle of my chest. I feel so much better I am hoping to actually enter up this weekend.

LOL!!!!
I've never bought the product on line but can see on that website it would be near impossible anyway. I've just purchased it at the bigger races around here. Hoping they will be at the Casino race at the end of this month, I need to get more of the poultice.
I need to do the essential oils for myself also GLP, good reminder!!!
Oh, and good luck, hope you do enter up!!!
